Welcome to KernelHQ
This is a small tribute to the Linux Kernel community, working hard to provide such a fantastic kernel for a operating system.

KernelHQ is a database driven source code BROWSER for the Linux Kernel. You are able to do diffs between any Kernel you want. If you want to see what changed between 2.4.0 and 2.5.0 for example, the DIFF will help you visualise it.

Please revisit the site from time to time, to see changes and improvements.
If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me under: alex-khqweb@kernelhq.org

Site News
  • 01.09.2004 Kernel Statistics
  • Added some statistics about the kernel main versions: 2.2, 2.4 .... With some nice graphs. But look for yourself! Click on the STATS link next to the kernel version in the table on the left hand side.
  • 23.08.2004 New front page
  • Just changed the entry page for KernelHQ, removed some outdated information and rearranged things a bit. I hope it is going to inspire me to make it more usable. (Any wishes and comments are welcome)
  • 13.08.2004 New feature
  • I've been kind of busy with other things last year. :-( But I just finished a long awaited feature, people keep bugging me about. Browsing through the filesystem of two different kernel versions (diff browse mode) now tells you how many files differ in the subdirectory below the current direcetory. Click here to see what I mean.
